Solidarity Fund for the diagnosis and treatment of diseases, conditions and injuries of children abroad
The Solidarity Fund for Diagnosis and Treatment of Diseases, Conditions and Injuries of Children Abroad was established at the end of 2017 in the Republika Srpska with the aim of raising additional funds in accordance with the Law on the Solidarity Fund to enable diagnosis and treatment of children abroad. this is not possible in health care institutions in the Republika Srpska or in other health care institutions with which the Health Insurance Fund of the Republika Srpska has a signed contract.
The work of the Solidarity Fund, ie its establishment, status, activity, organization, sources and manner of fundraising, manner of distribution of funds, and monitoring of the Fund's work are regulated by the Law on the Solidarity Fund for Diagnosis and Treatment of Diseases, Conditions and Injuries of Children Abroad 100/17, 103/17.
Funds of the Solidarity Fund can be approved for diagnosis and treatment abroad of children under the age of 18, who are insured persons of the RS Health Insurance Fund and citizens of BiH. 72/19 . In order to exercise this right, parents / guardians of children should submit a request to the Fund in accordance with the procedure defined by the Rulebook on the manner, procedure, form, scope and deadlines for using the Solidarity Fund (Official Gazette of Republic of Srpska). abroad decides - Expert Commission of the Solidarity Fund , as well as - Board of Directors of this Fund , and the solution brings- Director of the Fund.
Funds for the Solidarity Fund are collected from several sources, as follows:
- RS budget in the amount of 0.025% of realized tax and non-tax revenues in the previous fiscal year, reduced by the amount of social security contributions;
- Special contribution for solidarity at the expense of budget users, public companies, institutions, administrative bodies, administrative organizations in the amount of 5% of the price of the purchased official passenger vehicle, except for vehicles of the Ministry of the Interior and health care institutions;
- Special contribution for solidarity in the amount of 0.25% of the salary of an employee in Republic of Srpska;
- Budgets of municipalities and cities in the amount of 0.025% of realized tax and non-tax revenues in the previous fiscal year.
Also, companies, entrepreneurs, individuals, international organizations and other interested parties can donate money to this fund for the treatment of children.
